Hint for the rhombus generalization of Paul Yiu's theorem

Since there are no right angles in a (general) rhombus, the Theorem of Pythagoras won't work now. Try using the well-known generalization of the theorem of Pythagoras from high school trigonometry, etc. For the outside case case, again look for a simple relationship between the inside and outside cases, and prove it.
